The 1 oz Austrian Silver Vienna Philharmonic is a Silver bullion coin produced annually by the Austrian Mint.

The Silver Philharmonic coin is the only Silver coin denominated in euros that is struck annually.

Made of pure Silver, the 1 oz coin’s obverse, designed by Thomas Pesendorfer features the Great Organ of the Musikverein, the Golden Hall in Vienna’s Concert Hall with the inscription reading “Republik Österreich – 1 Unze Feinsilber” which is German for “Republic of Austria, 1 ounce pure silver.” Also on the obverse is the year of the coin as well as 1,50 euro value.

The coin’s reverse features an array of musical instruments such as the harp, violin, cello, flute, bassoon, and French horn with the inscription reading “Wiener Philharmoniker” and “Silber,” German for “Vienna Philharmonic” and “Silver.”
